gateway jobs in their profession. Membership in iBridge is extremely

applicants will be awarded Scholarships on the basis of professional
qualifications, ability to commit to program participation, and
motivation to succeed.
iBridge was created in 2013 by Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and is
funded through the NYC Economic Development Corporation in order to
leverage the skills of immigrant professionals to contribute to the
economy of NYC,
and to benefit you!
Membership in iBridge is free to selected participants and provides students with the knowledge, skills, network and support they need to address
the primary obstacles and thrive in their respective fields through:

20 hours of classroom instruction on essential topics

individual coaching from a team of qualified staff specialists
·
facilitated networking with professionals in your field
·
corporate recruitment and placement services
·
opportunity to apply for a loan to cover the costs
of skill upgrading or general personal expenses through our partner
Amalgamated Bank
*Although
all eligible applicants will be considered, professionals from the STEM
field (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), accounting,
healthcare, tech/media will be
given priority.
Eligibility
iBridge serves immigrant professionals who meet these criteria:
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
New York City Resident
BA, BS or higher degree from an accredited foreign school
Unemployed or under- employed
Proficient in English
