Mr. Grant Jobs.
Human Resources Manager
A Road to Success
007 Wall Street St.
New York, NY 10001
Dear Mr. Jobs:
It is my sincere
pleasure to submit this application for the position of Neighborhood Stabilization
Program Associate with A Road to Success.
Hurricane Sandy has come
to further complicate this scenario for residents of New Your and New Jersey by
causing deaths, destroying whole communities, leaving tens of thousands
homeless, affecting mass transit and cutting power to millions of homes. The
recovery from such tragedy hasn’t been as rapid as was hoped for by local
authorities, and residents from NYC are still awaiting for initiatives such the
NYC Rapid Repair program to assist them to bring their homes back to occupancy
conditions.
My previous experience
working for Hacienda Community Development Corporation, a nonprofit
organization in Portland, Oregon, was related to affordable housing
development, asset management, program management and housing counseling. In my
previous position with the Homeownership Program, I had the opportunity to be part
of the team responsible for implementing and managing the Hardest Hit Fund for
Multnomah County in 2010, providing mortgage assistance for a year, or $20,000,
for an eligible homeowner.
I’d like to close by expressing
my sincere excitement about a challenging position aimed to support A Road to Success
mission of seeking to support distressed homeowners retain their equity, especially
those who were deeply affected by Hurricane Sandy and that need to return to
their communities and homes. Thank you for opportunity to apply.
Sincerely,
Rudy Ulin
