Homework_3rd week_Memo#3_Rewrite

From:  Patricia Brasher

Subject: New art proofing rules

Hi! all,

I appreciate all of your effort and help during my absence.

I want to share the information which we can improve our efficiency.
1) all artwork prioritized as follows:
    color keys/ color separations
    thermals
    POS
    rule copy
2) Pull art from the bottom of the bin, not the top.
The longest ones should be on the bottom and looked at first.
3) Do not separate art according to brand and proof art in order in the box.
In this way, arts can sit in the box for 3-4 days instead of 1-2 days considering accuracy of proof which is more important than convenient and fast proof.

Thanks for your cooperation.

Best,
Patricia

  1. I would put the first sentence at the end of the memo because this is not the most important point.

    3) I would reverse the sentence and start with proof art in the order it appears in the box, and I would mention do not...

    Very good.

    3) Proof art in order that appears in the box and do not separate art according to brand. While separating may make things flow easier for the proofer, it may cause that arts can sit in the box for 3-4 days instead of 1-2 days considering accuracy of proof which is more important than convenient and fast proof.

I appreciate all of your effort during my absence and your cooperation.
